Treasure Room at The State Hermitage Museum

The Treasure Room at the Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg, Russia is very ornate and one can tell the amount of craftsmanship put into the pieces on display. The room is also  culturally diverse showing artwork which have origins in other nations such as Germany and England. The artwork in the diamond room in particular contain artwork from the 4th century b.c. to contemporary pieces. The gold room contains few contemporary art pieces and solely contain works that originate in Eurasia. The museum is an exquisite method to learn about Eurasian history through the use of art.
