In-n-out Review - Sunny

For lunch, I had a cheeseburger with no lettuce and grilled onion and fries from In-n-out. I'm sure that everyone is familiar with this popular American fast food restaurant, but this addition of the onion and removal of lettuce adds a twist to the order. First, the delicate balance of sweet and savory of the original cheeseburger was shifted to a more savory side, but the layer of grilled onion adds another level of texture and spice, which contributes to the overall tasting experience. The cheese, as usual, was perfect, spread evenly and melted among the rest of the ingredients. For some reason, there were two tomatoes, which I think shifts the balance even more to the savory side, and adds another layer of sour to the burger.

The fries were not as crispy and seasoned, but with the addition of ketchup it still lives up to the In-n-out standard.

I also got share tea boba and ordered a strawberry mojito, but they didn't allow me to add any toppings so I just had plain tea. The mint added another layer of bittersweet, and the lemon added a perfect hint of freshness that was perfect for the summertime. The strawberry was fresh and sweet, and it was perfect and refreshing.

  1. Sunny. In-n-out is an amazing restaurant and it was a great review on your part. But, unfortunately, In-n-out meals are not complete without a MILKSHAKE. Boba does not satisfy In-n-out. Like you said In-n-out is an American fast-food restaurant, so you cannot mix American food with Taiwanese food.
