DIYing - Sunny & Emily

Have you ever wondered how to make your own jewelry? Embroidery? Pots? Then the DIY seminar is for you!

In this seminar, we explored the various projects and DIY crafts of the students, which includes everything from making jewelry to painting pots.

Above is a picture of Lauren Pak painting her new flower pot with acrylic paint, she is painting various flowers and stars to prepare for the planting they will do in the afternoon.

Another example of a painted pot by Karina Tarsadia, she used the technique of taping and forming different shapes. She used the tape to make a geometric shape and painted over it. Then, she let it dry and removed it to make a decorative pot.

The students also participate in ring making, using different wires and the pliers to bend and connect with the different stones and gems. Here are two examples of rings that Lauren Pak made.
Karina Tarsadia also made this beaded bracelet in multiple colors. She did a great job color coordinating and it is a great accessory to complement the rest of her outfit.

We were very impressed with all the projects of the students and we thought they were very creative. We even participated in a few creative activities ourselves to really complete our experience.
